Book covers

Hello everybody! Hope you are doing good. A few minutes ago, I was, as usually, sitting quiet, mingled with my thoughts, and noticed something really..uhm..you might say obvious, but it is something really important too.

They say, "Don't judge a book by its cover", but does it really count? Like readers on writing platforms like Pratilipi or Watpadd are more attracted to a book having cover page than the ones which don't have a cover.

Even somewhat bright or say appealing coverpage is what attracts new readers, because apps show a small image of our coverpage while recommending our book on its pages and recommendations to new readers, which must subconsciously ask them to tap on our book and read it.

Well, I have beautiful covers for all my books, and they are attractive too, but none of my readers ever commented on them, so I think, after tapping on a beautifully crafter coverpage, story inside plays more important role.

I focused on the literal meaning than the actual learning behind this statement, and concluded that people do judge books by their covers as covers makes the first impression but the content inside is way more important and needed to be beautified equally.

The more you like it, the easier you lose it.

The more you like it,

                                  the easier you lose it.

Our lives are full of desires and dreams. Everyone wants something or another, some day or in the near future. Some are waiting to make their dreams come true, while some have left it all to destiny or time.

No matter how big or small our dreams appear, it feels so good when they come true. I remember how exactly I felt when I got my 10th board results, and I remember that feeling also when I had Pav Bhaji for the first time.

Well, the moment when I saw the rank list and I lost a government medical seat by just a rank, I remember that feeling too. No! I am not dwelling on the past. I just want to emphasize that life has its ups and downs, but there is something to understand while achieving your dreams and desires, which is what the blog post is about.

No doubt, while working or manifesting your desires, one has to believe in the process and practice patience, but it is also true that once the process ends, one must let it go.

Liking and believing are two different feelings. Believing feels peaceful and results in peace most of the time, but liking feels tempting and might result in hurting oneself.

When you believe, you believe in yourself, something, or someone, but when you like, you simply like someone or something by putting yourself at second priority, and that most of the time changes into a crazy feeling where you can act like you are obsessed by that something or someone, and when obsession makes noise, you lose yourself and everything that you like.

The more and more you start liking someone or something, the more and more you increase the chances of losing it early and easily.

Life isn't for that one person or thing that you are crazily liking or obsessed with; it's way more than that. Ease it out! Because getting obsessed with it will make you lose it faster, and you might lose your true self too.
